Best Laundry Option

Liquid Detergent, Powder Detergent, or Pods to clean your clothes?

Powdered Detergent is the winner on all fronts. Consumer Reports confirmed it works the best of the 3 options for the cheapest price.

Most liquid detergents over the years have increased water content in their formulas, decreasing their overall cleaning power.

Pods have the benefit of preventing waste you would otherwise have with liquid or powder detergents, just so long as your load size is adequate.

If you want the cheapest liquid detergent that doesn't have the dyes, phthalates, or other chemicals, then I'd recommend the Ecos brand detergent sold at Aldi:

Laundry Tips

One technique you can utilize to aid in cleaning your laundry is adding vinegar.

Paul Saladino (Carnivore MD) is one of the popular Health-oriented doctors on YouTube, and he advocates using Vinegar in this video: Here

Aldi also has a good price on vinegar to supplement the Ecos laundry detergent.

Avoid fabric softener, it will only coat your clothing in a film that will prevent them from getting truly clean.

Immediately dry your clothes when the washing cycle has finished.  You want to avoid damp clothing accumulating mold.

Avoid using hot water and opt for warm water for your washing cycles to save electricity costs.

Utilize wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets.  The wool balls last for hundreds of cycles and effectively help reduce dryer cycle times.

Trader Joe's and Grocery Outlet have great deals on Wool dryer balls.
