Why I Hate Glassdoor

Glassdoor is one of the worst and most frustrating websites I've had the displeasure of dealing with.

I've had many reviews deleted, contested, or altogether removed with no reason whatsoever.  Mind you, I do not disclose any insider trading info, or say any kind of threat or discriminate in any way in my reviews.  I'm just telling the honest truth, and that's exactly why Glassdoor takes down reviews and allows HR departments to flood their company's pages with fake reviews.

The fact that Glassdoor to say that they don't delete or alter reviews is proof that they do indeed pander to corporations and delete any truthful review that exposes sin and depravity from these disgusting corporate overlords.

For any aspiring Entrepreneurs out there on this site, please create a company review website where reviews are never deleted so long as they don't contain threats, discrimination, or insider trading.

Here is an example of just how inaccurate, propped up, and deceptive Glassdoor is.  How in the world does Burger King have a 3.4 out of 5?  The rating should be 1.4 out of 5!  How in the world do 60% of reviewers approve of the CEO?  These numbers mean absolutely nothing for any aspiring job seeker trying to find a good company to apply to, even for their first job.

This is a straight up lie.  I wish someone can take this to court against Glassdoor and reveal to everyone just how evil their business model is.  That's a lawsuit I can stand behind with my entire being.

Bottom Line: Use Glassdoor to collect any valuable information you can on whatever company you're researching, but take ANY review with more than 3 stars with a grain of salt.

Why I Hate LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a worthless, cringe-filled, Corporation worshipping Facebook knockoff that will never help you network or find a job.

I do give LinkedIn kudos for showing how many applicants their job listings have.  However, seeing the sheer dozens of applicants for each job listing will show you just how saturated the job market is with applicants.

You will undoubtedly scratch your head as you review various individual's Linkedin profiles to ask yourself how in the world those people got those jobs they're in to begin with, especially when they have huge job jobs or just have no experience to justify them being in the position they're in.

LinkedIn confirms exactly what we've all known for decades: Nepotism is alive and well in the job market, and people will brown nose their employers to the point of cringe.

Thankfully, more and more content creators are exposing the corporate cringe of LinkedIn in more numbers.
